David Stoddard is a Partner Emeritus. He founded the Idaho Falls office of Cooper Norman several decades ago and served as its lead Partner for many years.

Dave’s forte has always been in finding creative solutions to challenging business circumstances of clients and friends. His make-it-happen attitude has resonated in a broad range of accounting, tax, pension, and management issues. He was the first person at Cooper Norman to obtain the Certified Fraud Examiner credential and led the way for the firm’s expertise in that area.

He enjoys trying to set a good example for his family, while authoring a series of novels featuring a lead character who performs financial fraud investigations.

By attracting clients and mentoring many of his co-workers, Dave helped shape Cooper Norman into what it is today.
